Wedding Venue:
Squire Tarbox Inn

We can’t wait for you to see the lovely scenery at the Squire Tarbox Inn. When we first toured the grounds, we both looked at each other and knew it was the perfect venue to tie the knot. The inn is nestled in a serene landscape that stretches over twelve acres of lush pastoral farmland. Oh, and it wouldn’t be complete without a rustic barn for the reception.

Getting there

By Plane

Portland International Jetport is the closest airport to our wedding venue. We recommend if you are flying, your group rent a car to get around. There are limited taxi and app-based car services once you reach the area.

Most inns and hotels offer parking for their guests, we suggest you confirm this before booking.

The majority of our guests will need to be shuttled to our venue on the day of our wedding. We will be providing the transportation, please see the Shuttle section below for more details. The venue has limited parking, please let us know if you would like to drive so we can ensure we can accommodate you!

 

Where to Stay

Please ensure you book your stay within walking distance of our shuttle pick-up locations.

We highly suggest all guests stay in Boothbay Harbor, a cute and walkable town with a variety of inns, Airbnbs, restaurants, bars, and shops. A shuttle stop will be stationed at the Fisherman’s Wharf Inn in the center of town. This location is easily accessible by foot to many of the nearby inns.

If you’d like to stay closer to our wedding venue, we recommend the Cod Cove Inn in Edgecomb. This location will also serve as a shuttle stop. While this inn offers a shorter drive to our venue and after-party, please note that it isn’t a walkable area like Boothbay Harbor – a car is a must for this location.

A handful of suggested accommodations are provided below:

  • Fisherman's Wharf Inn

    This inn is recently renovated with a plethora of rooms and many of them offer great harbor side views!

    There’s plenty of parking and the inn is located right in downtown Boothbay Harbor. This location is about 35 minutes from our venue.

  • Cod Cove Inn

    We recommend this location for anyone who wants to be closer to our venue (20 mins away) and very close to our after party location (4 mins away).

    Cod Cove is located in Edgecomb.

  • Captain Sawyer's Inn

    7 room inn with great views of Boothbay Harbor and a central location. This inn is very very cute and very Maine, highly recommend!

    Great for groups and families who want to stay together.

    This will not be a shuttle pick up/drop off location, but it’s a 2 min. walk to Fisherman’s Wharf Inn.

  • The Greenleaf Inn

    This inn location is comprised of both The Greenleaf Inn and The Admiral's Quarters. Many of the rooms have ocean views of Boothbay Harbor and lovely porches.

    There’s a total of 15 rooms between the two buildings, great for groups and families.

    This will not be a shuttle pick up/drop off location, but it’s a 2 min. walk to Fisherman’s Wharf Inn.
